2 Area Support Group (2 ASG) is a Regular Force Army Formation within Land Force Central Area (LFCA). 2 ASG is made up of operational, combat service support (CSS) units and Area Support Units (ASUs) throughout Ontario.[1] 2 ASG force generates unit, sub-unit, and individual field troops for deployment domestically and overseas. The current Commander of 2 ASG is Colonel T.M. Endicott.[2]

The formation was established February 4, 1999 with its headquarters in Toronto, Ontario. The headquarters was relocated to Canadian Forces Base Petawawa from Toronto on September 28, 2006.[3]
